can you hear your fuel pump come on :?:

cause if you can it sounds to me like you fuel filter :?

if everyone would take the time to read my post it says.

( i changed the fuel filter last night and still nothing )
also says i hear some kind of humming noise coming from the back when i put my ear by the tire..


also i just went and bought a fuel pressure tester kit for $40

can someone tell me how to use it correctly..?

o.k now why did you'* make me go buy a fuel pressure tester if i clearly stated im not getting any fuel or air pressure coming from the fuel rail test port.?

can some one please help me. this is very fustratingand a bad time to be carless..

and im sorry fo rinterupting anyone'* valentines day but im stuck..

If you already pressed in the center of the schrader valve & no fuel came out then the pressure gauge wasn't neccesary. Make sure you're getting power to the pump and check the ground bus.

whats up my man.... how are you.?

well how do i check see if im getting power to the pump.? and exactly what ground bus do i check...? and where.?

oh and when i changed the fuel filter (no gas ) came out the line coming from the tank side when i took off the old filter. but there was gas inside the old filter....

where is the fuel pump relay.? is it one of the 3 big relays by the drivers fender well under the hood.? or is it under the passenger side dash.? and which relay is it exactly.?

if you can hear the pump run for 2 seconds when you turn the ignition to run, then don't worry about the relay.
