Default What should I do???

Ok. today I got in a minor accident. I was switching lanes and a trucks bumper scaped and put a dent in my drivers side rear door. I pulled the door panel off and fixed the dent the best I could but there is still a dent there that is highly noticable. I cant pop the rest out because of the metal bar that is in the way. What I need to know is...should I replace the door or bondo it? I also need a trim piece for that door. I think it would be easiest to bondo it because I have to bondo a dent in the guarter panel back towards the taillight on that same side. Also should I just get the trim piece at a slavage yard? AND...What color should I paint my car? It has to match the blue interior. Let me know what you guys would do.

I think I will go to the salvage yards tomorrow and see if I can find any bonnies. and the trim I need.

Hard to say really...the value in the car is basically gone...(no offense, just thinkin about age...I'm in the same boat)

But looking for the trim from a wrecker is a good call. If you are going to do the body work and repaint yourself then go for it...but a body shop will take everything from you to fix it...

Good luck...my local wrecker had 3 87-91 models for me to pillage from. I hope you have the same luck

I'm pretty sure that the salvages around here will have several 87-91'* because I see them everyday. I think I am going to paint the car dark blue metallic and redo my interior. I don't care what everybody thinks about the bonneville(being a g-ma car and all!) because I think it isnt terribly slow like a civic and it rides really smooth. That is why I want to fix it!

Oh..I don't disagree with you at all...its one of the best looking 15 year old cars I have ever seen. The styling is fantasic. It should be a fun restoration project for you.

Good luck
