Switching to Mini Starter...
hey guys...well my orignal type starter does alright but i was wondering how hard is to switch to new type mini starter?... :?:

are you talking about the gear reduced as opposed to the direct drive?
I installed this gear reduced starter on my 91 LE...

yea i believe soo or same as the new starters that got on the new bonneville'* i just call them mini starters........are they easy to install or you have to rewire them.......the old one is loud and its been on there awhile so mite switch it out if possible......any advice is appreciated!

The one I used was for a 94-95 Park Ave Ultra or Bonneville SSEi.... But I believe it crosses to the newer years as well.. Might have to do a little parts research on it..
The only issue I had was with the Positive Wire from the battery... Its at a slightly different angle on the Gear reduced starter.. I did a little tab bending, and careful placement to make sure the Ignition feed to the solenoid and the 12V Battery cable would not touch... While I was there I also wrapped the cable in new wire loom..
The starter was actually a direct bolt on for my car...
