Drivers' side near the bottom is where he'll find the petcock, The radiator flows freely outward afterwards.

okay, now as far as the overflow bottle.. when I drain the radiator.. will that just come out with it? Or will I need to drain that also? [that is what I am confused about]. If i have to drain it seperatly.. how should I go about doing that? Because that line looks like it'd spill all over something..

as far at the petcock goes.. do I need to removed both, or just one?

The easiest thing to do would be to pull the lower radiator hose off the radiator. I never had to mess with those bolts in that book, and I changed the timing chain. Just disregard that little part of the book and pull the lower radiator hose or the petcock on the radiator.

You ever had a lower intake off before? Kinda fun the first time eh?

Never had the lower intake off.. can be a pain in the ***. This engine is dirty as hell!!! the PCV valve [what I believe to be the cause of the oil leak] had been clogged forever, and a $6 part, it shouldn't be. I need to get ALL the coolant out.. the coolant is this thing REAKS of cat ****.. its like the previous mechanic took his cat, ploped it down on the radiator, and said, here cat, fill up the coolant in this car.. and it just pissed in there. I don't care how it comes out though.
