SERIOUS shifting hesitation
Ok, whats the deal here, my transmission is shifting REALLY slow. And constantly catching/hesitating between gears when I go to accelerate say in the city or something. fluid level is perfect and color is fine. was just changed 7 months ago. Could it just be that the trans is just getting WAY too hot?

My old car did this once in super hot summer heat, and only once.
Can it be described as being like hitting a 3000rpm Gran Turismo bouncy rev limiter?

Do you have a tranny cooler? if not maybe you should hit the bone yard for one and then bypass the cooler in the rad. I hit up my old man for my tranny cooler then bypassed the one built in the rad. I have rubber(or whatever they are) lines from the tranny to the cooler since the winter and it is holding up well so far with no leaks or cracks.

I could be way off here... but maybe check that vacuum line that goes to the shift modulator on the transmission. And make sure that the modulator on the tranny is tight as well.
When the LeSabre had it'* tranny replaced, the modulator was left loose, and it shifted really weird.
Just an idea.

Check 2 things,
Vacuum Modulator (at these miles its better off to just replace it with an adjustable one from napa)
Throttle Valve cable running from the transmission to the throttle body, re-adjust it. It controls your shift points.

Nah, I returned it because OSG told me mine was fine at the time. (Via trial and error over the phone )
But I might as well go and get another one. And some brake shoes...
