Can one of you guys do us a favor? Hector needs to know a couple things to determine if the Series 1 ADTR intake will fit an 87-91.

We need somebody to measure the opening of the TB. Just pull the intake hose off and measure the diameter for us.

Also need a measurement from the top center of the driver'* side strut (center of the 3-bolt pattern) to the little rubber doo-hickey that determines the closed height of the hood....the little adjustable thingy above the headlight.

I take it the intake and TB are the exact same sizes for the LE, SE, SSE?

I would definitely be interested in a ADTR Intake for my 89SE for sure....

The reason I asked this was because I talked to someone with a 1990 Bonneville in the parking lot. (They were curious of the ADTR name on my shirt.) And once they found out I did Bonneville'*, the hood opened quickly. I looked and it'* the same amount of space as all other Bonneville'* as well. I have also seen a few 88-91 Bonneville'* in the junkyard nowadays. :( If you need parts off of them, dont hestitate to ask and I will check for you.

There is a wrecker yard not far from here...in Hamilton, Ontario area I believe. I have had this discussion as well with Drifter (heh heh....gotta find good parts sooner or later).

The engine compartment is in pretty good shape. If there is anything I think I may need in the future, Hector might be the guy to talk to first before any salvage operation.

BTW...Hector do you think a Series I ADTR would fit in an 89? If so, how much are they?

It would be the same price since we dont have to do any modification to it. Just bolts right in. Well the only thing is the TB size reducer so it attaches correctly.

Probably a good idea to get parts from me since there is no rust on the cars in the junkyard out here. I have seen them, just looking out for everyone.

I took a look at adtr.com and the Intake is listed at $145 USD...not a bad price for a custom intake.

Converting it to $CDN, thats another story. If the TB needs an adaptor, what does that cost?. Also, the airbox has a mounting bracket. What happens to it?. Does your system come with the proper mounting equip?

Since you are in California and I'm in... well, winter wonderland outside of Toronto, do you have installation instructions?

There is no extra cost for the TB adaptor. Just for different years of Bonneville'* the Throttle Body'* are different sizes so it doesnt cost more, just the same. You do not use the airbox anymore with our design, it restricts too much. You toss the stock one out. And yes our system comes with all the mounting equipment you need. And there will be install instructions of course, all it really takes is a screwdriver. :P

She is going in tomorrow for new fuel lines (wherever needed), fuel filter, hydraulic hood support pistons (too cold for me to work on... :? They also promised to install the plugs that I bought (new wires too)

In all honesty, anyone...how much of a power increase are we looking at here? My new exhaust added something like 10HP.
