Low coolant loght on @ DIC
My driver info center was saying low coolant yesterday while the radiator was full.
I added 1/2 bottle of water pump / anti rust lube and it went out.
Could it have been the switch or float sticking???

Apparently the one on my Bonneville has gone on a few times during the winter, I couldn't tell you first hand since it is my fiancé that drives it all the time. Seems that once it warms up it goes out. I am pretty sure that I have already changed the sensor. As long as your overflow bottle is full and your rad is full, you should be fine.

Mine would do that also. Just something it does when you reset, I believe it resets some of the errors every time or so. When I was losing coolant [damn coolant leak], my warning light would come on once every three times or so.

I've heard that the sensors could get really dirty. Like calcium scales and rust and stuff forming on the sensors that could cause them to give a false reading??? Maybe just a simple pull and inspect and check the wiring connection too?

sensor
Thanks for the input.
I tried cleaning the connector so I guess the next thing would be to take it out and clean the tip. I hate to drain the radiator.
Is it hard to get out of the radiator?
I should have a warm day this week.
