Interior noise with magnaflow or flowmaster?
I know everyone has compared the sounds of these exhausts, but what about interior noise? I am ready to buy a 2.25 in, dual 2 out magnaflow muffler, but I don't want it to be loud inside when I am going down the highway (55-75 mph).
Anyone that has some input, please let me know.
Thanks!

There is interior noise, it'* the worst at 2000RPM'*. At 1500RPM'* it isn't too bad, but still noticeable. I have the flowmaster so it may be different.

noise
My original pipe cracked at the cat and was thinking of just intallind the Magnaflow.
That gives me something to think about. I like low RPM noise but not @2000 on the highway.

I have the magnaflow on my sse and right at 2,000 rpm it is the loudest but sounds the best too. You will get interior noise, but I mean I drove it for about 3 hours straight a couple weeks ago and it was not THAT bad, and of course cruising speed keeps it right at 2,000 rpm.
I don't get to drive it often since I am out of town alot, plus we keep it as an in town car.

My experience is that where the pipe ends has a lot to do with the sound inside, a straight pipe extending past the valence has consideably less sound inside than one that turns down before exiting.

I like having a little exhaust noise too, but I have driven the car as much as 700 miles in one day, and too much noise could get old no matter how nice it sounds. If I can keep it mellow and low, it will be just right for me.

I've got quite a bit of resonance from 1900-2500, so it'* not like a performance-oriented exhaust will make it THAT much worse
... for me, anyway.
