Default Battery Holder

Hey all,

I'm just about to get the 91 inspected, but I noticed the battery is very loose.
I believe there is supposed to be a screw that goes into a wedge (I could be wrong) that holds it in place. I think this may have been lost when I had my alternator& battery replaced last year.

I was wondering if that was universal or a part I need from the dealer?

Thanks

I do think you might be able to find a unversal one..or get one from any GM car of the 87-99 era.

The other day in Advance.....or was it AutoZone??? I can't remember since I was in both, but anyway...

They carry all sorts of universal battery hold-down and tie-down items. You should be able to pick one up there if you don't have ready access to a yard today.

Perfect, I found a clamp at CT... but the bolt was wrong.... I'll grab this bolt on the way home tonight.

Thanks again Bill! You rock!
