i mentioned above that it is indeed white, so the white curse lives on. not even worth fixing tho, the windshield is cracked/broken from the heat, and ALL windows are coated with a thick black film. and of course that horrible smell. we're keeping it around tho for the engine and tranny. i might need them one day in my 92.(their both series I, but are they still the same?). Anyway, i just thought it would be an interesting pic to put up here for everyone to look at.

I've seen that spontanious dash melting before too, rare, but I have seen it. There was a 90 SSE (white, but there is not curse!) tan interior, and just destroyed by fire. I think that that was why it was in the yard. makes me a little paranoid... :(

Sadly enough thats not the first melted Bonneville I've seen either. There was a 92+ at my local yard melted to hell in the cabin, everything else was fine. That must have been one hell of an electrical short.

the upside is...we have tons of members looking for parts off that car.
Might be able to help her recover some money by selling parts to the 87-91 people.
List parts in the "For Sale" section.

Just out of curiousity.... Is that a 90 or 91? There were a lot of changes between the 2 years... And I think electrical was among some of the changes..
I need to snapp a pic of the back side of the SSE cluster, and I am wondering if the LE SE cluster is the same on the back for the 87-91 Models
