'91 Bonneville LE acceleration issue....
I've been registered for a little while here, yet I never really posted anything other than my intro. So, now I'm here in need of help. I've got a '91 Bonneville LE with an LN3 3800 and 222,7XX miles. For the most part, it drives pretty well for its age and mileage (looks clean too). However, it'* had an annoying symptom since I bought it a few months ago, and just recently got worse.
For a brief moment of time after taking a tight turn, usually somewhat hard, the engine stalls out for reasons that I'm not sure of . It seems to be more prominent when I'm low on fuel (perhaps the gas sloshing around has something to do with it). Just today, when I gave it maybe 3/5 to 3/4 throttle or more, it was "surging" as the word may be or hesitating. It seemed to be noticeable around 3,000 RPM and up. The tach needle would just kind of hang around wherever I had the throttle level at and slightly fluctuate in its spot. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!
