Remove headliner, remove material, replace with new material and reinstall headliner. harofreak recently did this in his car and I'm in the process. You can do a search for "headliner" and see many pics of his. The materal is available through auto parts stores usually marketed as "Heads Up" or as the freak did, order from Hancock Fabrics. Try to get a roll of material that measures at least 60" x 72" for a comfortable amount more than is actually needed.

BTW....I'm curious. This headliner "The Sky Is Falling" syndrome, is this just a GM thing 'cause I never see/hear about it with any other cars.

Older model bonnies have a problem with rust spots around the weather-stripping at the top of the winshield. This causes moisture to get inside the car in that area, making the headliner droop. What I would recommend doing before reattaching the new headliner is to check for any rust spots/holes ar the top of the windshield. Otherwise, the new headliner may be destroyed as well. I recently redone the weatherstripping around the windshield of my '89, and found an enormous amount of rust, and actual holes under the weatherstripping.
