Default coil springs...

how would these affect the drive of the car if they were done/ worn, I noticed when its cold out the suspension is stiffer, and when its warm the suspension is softer...even the steering has more tension and is harder to turn, i replaced the strut mounts and shocks all round last month.. is it possible ?

The hydrallic fluid in the struts will stiffen up in cold weather. It may depend on what suspension option your car was built with too (IE: soft ride, Performance Ride, Firm ride, etc). What suspension option do you have as comparied to the struts you bought? In other words, did the struts you bought match the exact suspension type your car has? or did you just buy whatever was on sale? Coils can wear (sag) but this is very, very uncommon due to the fact the struts usually give out first.
