Cut off problem
When I start my bonnie, sometimes I have to hold the gas padel down a little for it can stay idle. After a few seconds, the car idles on its own. When I start to drive, the car drive fine but when I take my foot off the gas to stop, it idles up and down. Sometimes the car will cut off when I stop at a light. The funny thing is that the check engine light is not on, can anybody help me what this problem?

i had the same problem last week, probably your maf sensor, the little black box pointed up on your throttle body with the plug on it, that should keep your car idling ok, also would be a good time to clean your throttle body, use sensor safe cleaning spray . should help

My car has done that ever since i removed the maf screen. It only does it when you first start the car though and once you hit the gas it stops even when it goes back to idle. probably your maf sensor

I also read of some people removing the complete MAF sensor but ot my knowledge the car will not idle without that sensor if anyone knows the procedure for removing MAF sensor without causing the vechile to stall.

These cars will not be driveable at all without the sensor...
Thats what i thought thanks for the info jr.
