Lemme see if I get what you're saying.....
The brakes work perfectly, The battery dies. You pulled a fuse to make the battery not dies. With the fuse pulled the car has a high, hard pedal and Is hard to stop. If you replace the fuse the car functions normally with the exception of the pump running constantly?
Someone look up what turn that thing on, It'* got problems.
On the subjet of it it'* safe, No one on the club can make that desicion for you, I'd suggest against driving a car with brake problems, But you're the one driving the car and actually feeling the brakes.

OK. Here what I have:
Fuse 8 - Electric brake system-control (10 amp)
Fuse 9 - EBS-pump (10 amp)
The Teves brake system in these cars are electric not vacuum assisted. Dicsonnecting fuse 9 disables your brakes. Disconnecting fuse 8 disables ABS

Petal feel is just fine. Brakes work flawlessly with the fuse in, just the ABS and BRAKE lights are on. I'm searching my FSM like crazy. Hopefully it will be easy for me to diagnose the problem.

Brake pump thingy is right next to the MC [it is the resevior, which says BRAKE FLUID on it], it is the circle bubbly thing... Both fuse 8+9 are back in, and NOT blown. Park brake, is NOT set.

OK. Sometimes I need to ask dumb questions to make sure I understand correctly.
Do a search and include the word "teves" and author "padgett". Several very informative threads appear. One in particular, talks about both red and yellow lights coming on for 5 minutes or so. Check those out.
Personally, I would not drive the car with red light on and suggest you do the same until it gets resolved.

Okay, found a troubleshooting site, which was from Padgett'* posts. Although, here'* the problem, My ABS/BRAKE lights NEVER go out. The troubleshooting it says to go through, all checks out fine for me. With the ignition off, I can never get the hard petal feel.. takes me like 50 pumps [not really, but it takes over 10]. However, my pump is CONSTANTLY running. So, this is telling me, maybe the relay is stuck open? I don't see the relay in the relay center, is it possible it is the one located near the airbox?

Also, when just to add. When I took her out Sunday, she ran flawlessly, the brakes worked excellent, and there were no worries. This ONLY started today, I have not touched her since Sunday. Devine intervention is looking like a really good explination.
