The 91 Has a brake booster, and master cylinder and the PMV is attached to the drivers side frame rail below the ELC compressor... You can buy a master cylinder for the 91-99 Bonnies for $60 US... The new master cylinder will have to be bench bled to get the air bubbles out, the old one can be removed before or after and the new unit installed and then you bleed at the lines on the master cylinder... If you do it right you should not need to bleed at the wheels... But it would be reccomended to bleed the whole system...
The Brake system is the biggest reason I was looking for a 91 SSE... One just happened to fall into my hands... It had the newer system that GM went to...

It was a rip...I was pretty pissed. I knew that the part was not expensive- but since I don't want to mess around with brakes, I had no other option. It is quite an improvement though. I like the 91 as it is a very different car then the previous models. My 89 had issues with the teves system.

Been driving with the new master cylinder- and I'm quite happy with the brakes. I even got a call from the garage that fixed her to see how it was and if i had noticed a difference. And the funnier thing the garage is run by my bros' GF'* oncle. And her Mom was the one who called me to follow up! I took this place on recomendation of my regular mechanic. Now I just have to pay the Visa bill.
