88 SSE needs 4 new wheels, what to choose? any suggestions?
My 4 original wheels on my 88 SSE need to be replaced.
I would like to get 4 news ones not especially like the original
monochrome for a change.
What are the good options (Quality/price) and which wheels company should I concentrate my choices with.
My budget for this is $1500 max.
Anyone has a suggestion?

I like the Sniper ($300 CAN each) and the Avenger ($200 CAN each) by American Racing. They come in chrome or polished aluminum. What colour is you car and what size rims were you considering?

Personally I like the factory crosslaced wheels (1990). Important thing to watch is the offset. I am running 225x60x16 Michelins on factory 16x7 wheels with a 46 mm offset (more is further in). I have the same tires on 16x7 Enkeis with 38 mm offset on another similar car and the difference in offset increased the track about an inch and at full lock the tread is very close to the fender liner. This does not happen with the 46 mm offset.

original 16 inches wheels size to fit my current tires on.
I wonder if I can go 17" or 18 on a 88 SSE?
Have purchased yours rims directly from America Racing web site or at a dealer near you?
