So I did the delco ignition swap but...
car starts, runs for a few minutes, then dies. I can't restart it for a bit after the fact either. It'll just sit and crank. I still have the old ignition but i'm curious if anyone has input to offer.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Did you have this issue at all before the swap? I agree that there is a possibility that the ICM you got could be bad... If you swap the old ICM back on and have no issues, than we will know if you have a bad Type 2 ICM...

Have seen odd things happen with both Magnavox and Delco, ICM in my car now would not run at all at first. Connected breakout box and everything looked fine. Hooked back up and started immediately. That 14 pin one screw connector is very suspect in my opinion however starts, runs for a while, dies, sounds more like a bad ICM particularly if Magnavox is OK.
