Don't worry, I learned my lesson on beating cars up. The corsy just got red tagged.. yuppie. B'ville is sitting at the shop, but the damn shop is still closed, so work is at a standstill. I'm really pissed about that [car got tagged today], but at least I got my sweet 85 yamaha moped back. Guess for the next few weeks that'* just how I'll have to roll . At least I'll save a crapload on gas.
The 440s were the ones you can overcool right? That'* why you should run it through the factory cooler after the aftermarket one? Or was it the 60-E?

When a car is deemed not road worthy by a shop.... the mount for my rack was severly rusted and finally took a dump so now the rack moves with the steering causing about a full turn on the steering wheel [1/2turn each direction] does nothing, and i lost power steering, and it clunks like a sob. It'* really f'd up. But hey, at least the car runs great

So is that a slang term for FUBAR'ed? Or is that an actual license plate revocation?
Thank GOD I live in a place with virtually no rust problems. Except, of course, when someone brings a rust bucket from up north.

Filters clog and pumps loose pressure but they can be changed and returned to life.
If you want long life:
Add a cooler, drive normally, change the fluid and filter.
