Well I ran a test on the IAC/EGR and based on the test:

Terminals A and D should be 20 - 30 Ohms
Treminals B and D should be 20 - 30 Ohms
Terminals C and D should be 10 - 17 Ohms

Now either my mulit-meter is really screwed up, or somethings is wrong. The test results I got were:

Terminals A and D = 22.3 Ohms
Terminals B and D = 45.4 Ohms
Terminals C and D = 34.5 Ohms
(give or take an ohm or half)
Terminals B and D and C and D.. look a little high, actually very high.

So I'm hoping this is it, and if so what does this mean exactly.. the IAC is bad or the wireing, or could it be something else. Or maybe just cleaned?[/img]

What the picture seems to show is the WOT (full open) reading - spec is "over 4v". What affects the idle is the fully closed reading which should be .38-.42 volts. Above a half volt at idle will affect the rpm.

If against the stop is may be the wrong way.

Also the IAC is under the throttle body but a dirty IAC usually resilts in surging and dieing at stop lights. Finally the ERG coils could read good with one stuck open.

ps those nails are way too clean for the moniker.

So does that mean it is fixed?

Carbon on the IAC and a few vacuum lines were cracked/broken?

Everything running fine now?

Sounds like the IAC or TPS may not be from the correct motor/year compatilble. You may want to double check the part numbers.
