Default Service Engine light quirk

My service engine light will come on when I am driving at 66 mph but will go off if I slow down to 64 mph. Whats up with that???

I'd suspect a dead spot in your TPS right off the bat. Does the cruise control work in that speed range? Is your TC locking and unlocking correctly? Have you pulled codes for this one?

Coupla years ago I had an O2 sensor fail at speeds over 65 mph only. Would be fine around town but on the Interstate would just stop transitioning.

First thing to do is pull the codes and see what is there - anything that makes the SES light come on should store a code.
