It'* hidden under the three spark plug wires that go to the back cylinders. If the rubber grommet is no longer soft then you'll also want to change that.

Well, are you getting a service engine soon light? If so, have you pulled the codes?

How to check engine codes:

http://www.lesabret.com/phpBB/viewtopic.php?t=1201

How to change PCV valve:

http://www.lesabret.com/phpBB/viewtopic.php?t=6107

Check the codes first and reply back with what they are. 12 doesn't mean anyting just so you know.

I'm not sure where the ALCL port is on a Bonneville (where you put a paperclip in to jump pins so that you can read codes) but I assume its under the dash near the ashtray somewhere. Can't miss it though as its a big black plug.

Check the charcoal cannister purge valve solenoid connector, make sure the connector isn't corroded. If it is, you can get a new weather pack connector and purge valve solenoid at most parts stores.
Also check all your rubber vacuum hoses and connectors, especially the elbows. If they haven't been replaced, they need to be replaced.
